Galaxy AI — The Headline Feature
The S24 Ultra is Samsung's first phone built around AI. Circle to Search lets you draw around anything on screen to instantly search it — useful when you spot a product in a video and want to find it on Amazon. Live Translate handles real-time phone call translation, which is genuinely useful in the UAE's multilingual environment.
Chat Assist rewrites messages and translates them on-the-fly across WhatsApp, Telegram, and other messaging apps. Note Assist summarizes meeting recordings and generates action items.
Camera System
The 200MP main sensor captures extraordinary detail. In well-lit UAE outdoor scenes — think desert landscapes, Burj Khalifa at sunset, or marina shots — the results rival dedicated cameras. The 5× optical zoom (up from 3× on the S23 Ultra) makes it excellent for event photography and capturing distant subjects.
- 200MP wide (f/1.7) with OIS
- 12MP ultrawide (f/2.2)
- 50MP 5× telephoto periscope
- 10MP 3× telephoto
- 12MP front camera
Night mode is improved, and ProVideo shoots 8K at 30fps. For social media content creators in the UAE, this phone can replace a separate camera for most situations.
Display & Performance
The 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel hits 2,600 nits peak brightness — the brightest phone screen you can buy, and crucial for outdoor readability in UAE's intense sunlight. 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything fluid.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 handles everything from heavy multitasking to Genshin Impact at max settings. With 12GB RAM, apps stay in memory longer, so switching between WhatsApp, email, and a browser with 20 tabs is seamless.
Build & S Pen
The titanium frame is a noticeable upgrade — it's more resistant to drops and scratches than the aluminum of previous models. The flat display edges make the S Pen more natural to use for note-taking and document signing.
The S Pen is built in (no separate case needed) and responds at 2.8ms latency. For professionals who sign documents, annotate PDFs, or sketch ideas, it remains a unique advantage over every other phone.
Battery & Charging
- 5,000mAh battery — comfortably lasts a full day
- 45W wired charging (0–65% in 30 minutes)
- 15W wireless charging
- 4.5W reverse wireless charging for Galaxy Buds or Watch
Why It Still Makes Sense in 2026
With the S25 Ultra on shelves, the S24 Ultra has become the smart buy for anyone who wants flagship specs without paying for the newest model. The differences between the two are incremental — the camera system, S Pen and display are essentially the same experience. Check the Amazon.ae listing for the current price, which has moved a lot since launch.
